Fasayel Farms — Fahmi Al-Nimer Sons Co.
Fasayel Farms — Fahmi Al-Nimer Sons Co. — is one of the Jordan Valley's oldest family farms, worked continuously by the Al-Nimer family since 1890. The story began when Qasem Al-Nimer built a water-powered wheat mill at the Ras Al-Ein spring, cutting channels and raising stone aqueducts that turned a stretch of the valley into farmland. Four generations later, the family cultivates more than 830 of its 2,800+ family-owned dunums — Medjoul dates, watermelons, grapes, and greenhouse vegetables — irrigated by a layered water system that spans hand-cut 19th-century channels, a restored ancient Roman pool, and modern drip and center-pivot networks. Each September, more than 3,150 Medjoul palms yield 200+ tons of dates, supplied farm-direct to Palestine, the Gulf, and Europe. The farm welcomes press, research, and documentary enquiries.
