Medjoul Palm Dates

What began as young palms has grown into one of Fasayel Farms' greatest treasures. Today, more than 3,150+ Medjoul palms stretch across 280 dunums, producing over 200 tons of dates each year. Harvested with care and selected by the family, each date carries the story of the land, the climate, and generations of dedication. The grove itself continues to grow — each mature palm produces new offshoots, which are raised in the farm's own nursery and replanted across the land, season after season.

Year-Round Production

Vegetables — Fields & Greenhouses

Across open fields and 44 dunums of 18 climate-controlled greenhouses, Fasayel cultivates a wide range of fresh vegetables season to season — tomatoes, bell peppers, sweet peppers, hot peppers, cucumbers, eggplants, and cauliflower. Each crop is carefully planted, cared for, and harvested by hand, combining modern growing methods with the family's dedication to quality and the land.

All irrigated with sweet, fresh water rather than brackish well water — these crops simply will not thrive on anything saltier.

Summer's Heaviest Harvest

Crimson Watermelons.

Across 500 dunums of open fields, more than 250 tons of watermelon are harvested each year. Carefully cultivated from seed to harvest, each fruit is selected at its best — deep red, naturally sweet, and full of the freshness that defines Fasayel Farms.

A Seasonal Addition

Sweet Corn — When the Season Calls.

Across Fasayel's open fields, sweet corn is harvested fresh each season and distributed locally. Grown with the same care given to every crop on the land, it is available in spring from May through July, and again in autumn from October through November.

Co-Flagship Harvest

Grapes — Hand-clipped, Sun-ripened

Across 8 dunums of vineyard, Fasayel Farms cultivates approximately 4 tons of grapes each year. Carefully harvested by hand and slowly ripened under the valley sun, each green seedless cluster reflects the care behind every harvest — with floral notes, natural sweetness, and the distinctive character of Fasayel.

A Seasonal Addition

Mangoes — New to the Orchard.

In recent seasons, Fasayel has also begun cultivating mangoes — grown alongside the established orchards as a newer addition to the harvest. Hand-picked and sorted with the same care given to every crop on the land, available seasonally from late June through September.

How We Grow

Infrastructure & Modern Systems

Drip, center-pivot, and smart irrigation; palm disease monitoring; modern water reservoirs working alongside the restored Roman Pool, the central well, Ras Al-Ein channels, and the 19th-century heritage mill — over 130 years of layered agricultural infrastructure.

Center Pivot Irrigation

Center Pivot Irrigation

Wide fields watered by center-pivot systems that rotate across the soil with engineered precision — covering large areas evenly while reducing water waste compared to traditional flood irrigation.

Drip & Smart Irrigation

Drip & Smart Irrigation

Medjoul palms and row crops are fed by sealed pipe networks, drip emitters, and smart irrigation controls that deliver water and nutrients directly to the root — stronger trees, healthier fruit, and a fraction of the water lost to evaporation.

Climate-Controlled Greenhouses

Climate-Controlled Greenhouses

Across 18 greenhouses on 40+ dunums, we control temperature, humidity, and irrigation down to the hour — protecting crops from extreme weather and harvesting fresh vegetables long after the outdoor season ends.

Palm Disease Monitoring

Palm Disease Monitoring

Acoustic sensors wired into the crown of our Medjoul palms listen for the earliest signs of red palm weevil activity — catching infestations long before damage shows. A modern safeguard for trees planted to outlive us.
